Backlit film is one of a number of materials we offer as part of our Large Format Printing service. Backlit film is utilized when prints have a light source placed behind them, such as a lightbox. The rear-print film is translucent, diffusing the light to give an even illumination.

Backlit displays are a method of enhancing graphics by lighting the image from the rear, which then illuminates the advertising message more clearly to the public. The display is produced by printing directly onto backlit film. The print is then sandwiched between a diffuser and acrylic sheet and slotted into a frame containing conventional light tubes.

Our backlit graphic illuminators set the industry standard, and are offered in models to suit every purpose. They are available in table top, wall-mount, recessed, double-sided, and outdoor configurations, in a wide variety of sizes and finishes. Color correct illumination for most sizes, and easy, tool free graphic and interior access is standard. The illumination is brightest and most evenly distributed, giving profound impact to your backlit display presentations.
